New Year Beauty Resolutions
1. I will work on my inner beauty. Beauty comes from within. Yes. What and how you think (altitude) and what you eat. How you take care of you body.
a) Think - You are what you are and you are where you are because of what has gone into your mind. You change what you are and you change where you are by changing what goes into your mind. Attitude, not Aptitude, determines Altitude. Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will. You will think positive and talk positive. This will improve your confidence, lead you to achieve greater things and have great relationships. Learn how to cope with stress and you will have a better experience at work and in your ralationships
Do you see the beauty in that?
b) Body. Our bodies are what we eat. A balanced diet will lead to better health and great skin. Drink enough water. Rest. Sleep 6-8 hours a night. Exercise – Start with small manageable steps. This could be as easy as doing 10 star jumps every day, using the stairs instead of the lift, walking short distances instead of using a vehicle etc.
2. I will take care of my skin – Your skin is the biggest organ in the body. They say “Beauty is Skin Deep”. As you are taking care of your inner beauty (point one), take care of your outer beauty – your skin. It’s not all about the foundation or cream to use. Makeup looks great on a healthy skin. It’s work is to enhance. Know your skin type and get a routine on how to take care of it. Refer on our previous tips on skincare.
Well. That is it! What? - You may be wondering. Wondering why I have not given you 10 creams to apply for a great skin or 21 great diets for your skin. There is the place for that. This is just the foundation. Trust me, you will be in the right direction. Our next article will be on routine beauty practices.
Most people who fail in keeping their resolutions fail not from lack of ability but from lack of commitment. In all matters of life, including beauty, You were born to win, but to be a winner you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win. It\s not what you\ve got, it\s what you use that makes a difference. You cannot consistently perform in a manner which is inconsistent with the way you see yourself. Put all excuses aside and remember this: YOU are capable. You might not be able to start over, but you can begin now, and make a new beginning.
Happy new 2013. See you then.
